the official home page of Cardinal Community Swim Club. We are a USA Swimming affiliated swim club based in Muncie, Indiana. CARD provides an opportunity for novice athletes to swim along side state and national qualifiers in a safe, healthy environment while pursuing the highest level of personal development, both in and out of the pool.

EFFECTIVE NOW evening practice will be available every night.
Beginning July 9th morning practice will be from 8:00-10:00

All practices are at Halteman, except Tuesdays at Dolphin.
Every Tuesday CARD will practice at Anderson's Dolphin Swim Club at 7:45 a.m. and end by 10:30 at the very latest (probably closer to 10:00). Tuesdays there will be no 5:30 a.m. practice and EVERYONE is welcome to go to Dolphin. Take 32 west through Chesterfield and past the airport. Tturn right at stoplight at Rangeline Road and then left at 4 way stop. Pool entrance is on your left.

In addition, to the extent that funding is available, we offer financial assistance for team expenses to families whose children might otherwise be unable to participate in our sport. Without the generous support from individuals and businesses like yours, we would be unable to offer this opportunity to the youth of our community.

USA Swimming Registration Form- click here
Swimmers will be required to wear a team suit (black suit with CARD logo) at all non-championship meets. Also, if the swimmer wears a swim cap, they will be required to wear an official CARD swim cap (latex and silicone will be available) at all meets. The only exception to this rule will be championship meets, such as divisional, state, zones, sectionals, etc. At these championship meets, the swimmer (if wearing a swim cap) must wear a designated team cap and a black suit is preferred!

If a swimmer or parent elects to not purchase the team suit picked by the CARD apparel committee, then they will be required to purchase a black suit and have it logo-ed on their own and at their own expense.
All of the uniform requirements will take effect during the 2008-09 fall/winter season and are not required during this summer (long course) season. This will allow for a smooth transition.
